A Prayer of Thanksgiving

My sweetest Jesus,

Thank you for the inconvenience of love.

Thank you for the pain of devotion.

Thank you for the suffering of sacrifice.

Thank you for the crucible of trials, tribulations, and even persecutions in which I am tried; purified, rarified and translated into purest gold.

Thank you for the gift of repentance; the illumination of soul and body.

Thank you for every blessing and every hardship.

Thank you for a deathless death, which you have gained for us this day; a death wherein I will rest from my labors and enjoy the beauty of your face in your kingdom.

Dearest, dearest Lord, thank you for the inconvenience of love.
